Branding and Identity Development

Relax and unwind in Coffee Trader, a coffee shop brand that compliments many major city centres. Coffee Trader pride themselves on dark full-roast coffee bean sourced from El Salvador. The intense flavours and versatility of the bean means they consistently serve great quality coffee. Retro sofas and eclectic vintage collectables have created a comfortable second home allowing customers to enjoy a moment to themselves in the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Thinking

Synk were asked to create a brand for Coffee Trader using the above mission statement as a guide. We delved into this project with planning and commitment to create a modern retro style that portrays what Coffee Trader is all about.

Synk were asked to keep this phrase in mind when creating the new Coffee Trader brand, we knew customers use Coffee Trader to frequent socially and in a chilled atmosphere so directed our thinking with this in mind.

Icon range

We produced an extensive range of icons which would be used across the packaging and menu’s for each individual service Coffee Trader provide.

The Coffee Trader Website

We centred the website heavily around photography and created a gallery website where the pictures tell the story. Each page features a full scrolling background image which is all content managed by the staff.

The website is fully responsive so that visitors can access it from wherever they are on whatever device they are using. The site also features a fully editable calendar where the staff can pin point upcoming events.
